Gisele Bündchen Made an Iconic Red Carpet Comeback in Shorts

Gisele Bündchen’s last red carpet appearance was at the Met Gala when we saw her in a bridal gown from Karl Lagerfeld’s spring-summer 2007 Chanel couture show. Apparently, after her divorce, the model had decided to focus on her personal life instead of being under the spotlight. She was also busy finishing her cookbook Nourish in Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula.

Gisele Bündchen officially returned to the red carpet on December 8 for an IWC Schaffhausen event in Miami. Some of you may remember that the model became their ambassador last year, so it wasn't surprising to see her attend. But let's talk about her outfit. Bündchen found the balance between luxury and comfort, wearing khaki shorts, a matching blazer, and a thin white shirt underneath. Of course, she had paired her ensemble with an IWC silver watch and elegant heels. He iconic blonde curls were falling over her shoulders, and her makeup was simple yet beautiful. Once again, Gisele proved that rules don't apply to her, especially in fashion. She added her own twist to a menswear classic during winter. Now, that's what we call iconic!

It seems like 2023 was the year when some classic staples made a comeback and shorts suits are definitely among the winners. Brands like Valentino, Louis Vuitton, and Comme des Garçons's spring-summer 2024 collections already offer a variety of menswear options, and it's only a matter of time before we see the women's collection making an appearance.
